Montreal’s Milano Fruiterie, the first Italian speciality supermarket in Quebec, was founded by our father, Vincenzo Zaurrini, in 1954. He had a simple goal: to share the culinary excellence of Italy with his fellow Montrealers. Pasta, fresh herbs, charcuterie, cheese, olive oil, balsamic vinegar, coffee; sixty years later, Italy’s gastronomic brilliance shows no sign of fading and, like it, Milano Fruiterie shows no sign of waning. In fact, since its founding Milano Fruiterie has grown constantly. More space, more products, always the same excellent quality.
